SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held Tuesday, Jan. 26, at Kewadin Casinos and Convention Center in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be preceded by “Matters Raised by the Membership” from 5 to 6:00 p.m.
Resolutions to be considered are: two partial waivers; Honoring Nations Grant, FY 2010 Historic Preservation Grant; Rural Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking Assistance Program; Court Training and Improvements Program; Legal Assistance for Victims Grants Program; ACFS Victims Services Budget Modification; Youth Education and Activities Budget Modification; Sawyer Village Maintenance Budget Modification; Tribal Transit Planning Grant Budget Modification; Amendment to Tribal Code Chapter 42; Right of Way Moore’s Access Road; IRMP Planning Process Grant; and Gas Stations Contracting to Share Costs.
Under new business, the board will consider committee resignations and appointments.
