SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at the Hessel Tribal Center, Hessel, Mich., beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be preceded by Matters Raised by the Membership from 5 to 6:00 p.m.

The Board of Directors workshop will be held at the Kewadin Casino and Convention Center in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.

Resolutions being considered are: Partial Waiver: Castaneda, Partial Waiver: Horton, Partial Waiver: Lewis, Partial Waiver: Waid, 2010 Tribal Wildlife Grant, Requesting BIA Waive Appraisals, FY 2010 Sanitation Budget Mod, FY 2009 IRMP Grant Budget Mod, 2010 Budget Doc 002, Letter of Credit National City Bank, Waiver of Sovereign Immunity National City Bank, Amending Ch. 10: Election Code, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Petition to BIA Issue Corporate Charter, and Amending Ch. 14: Rules of Parliamentary Procedures.

Committee Appointments, a Motion to Reconsider: Ch. 14 and a Child Welfare Committee Appt. (Board Member) will be discussed under new business.
