SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Board of Directors will be held Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, in the Ontario Room at the Kewadin Casino and Convention Center in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be preceded by Matters Raised by the Membership from 5 to 6:00 p.m.

Resolutions being considered are: FY 09 Bud Mod Self Insurance, FY 09 Bud Mod Manistique Health Center, FY 09 Bud Mod Law Enforcement, FY 09 Cultural Camp, National Endowment for the Humanities, Amend Ch.30: Child Welfare (2 versions), Assistant Associate Judge, Rescinding 2007-93: Indigent Defense, Elder Entertainment Policy, Tribal License Plate and Adopting Corporate Charter.

Committee Resignations/Appointments will be discussed under new business.
