SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. - A regular meeting of the Sault Tribe Board of Directors will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at the Kewadin Casino and Convention Center in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be preceded by Matters Raised by the Membership from 5 to 6:00 p.m.

Resolutions being considered are: FY 2009 Nunn’s Creek Budget Mod, FY 2009 BIA (CORA) Budget Mod, FY 2009 Juvenile Detention Budget Mod, FY 2009/10 ACFS Budget Mod, OJJDP FY 09 Tribal Youth Grant, FY 2009 Rural Housing /Economic Develop Grant, Secretarial Election Chair/CEO Separation of Positions, Establishing a New Economic Development Division and Amending Funeral Fund.

Items being discussed under new business are: Waterpark, use of Chi Mukwa, long-term 2 percent request, conservation request and Key Employee.
