Sault Tribe Housing and Elder Services are excited to introduce R.U.O.K.? (Are You Okay?), an elder safety check program and peace of mind for those who live alone for the Kincheloe, SSM, St. Ignace, Newberry and Hessel areas.

Volunteers are needed. Do you like to talk with other Elders? Make a difference in an Elder’s life? Are you able to make a commitment to call an Elder once a week? If so, this volunteer opportunity is just for you!

To be a volunteer, you must complete a background screening and attend an orientation training session. Please call Cathie Erickson at Sault Tribe Housing, 906‑495‑1450, or Elder Services, 906‑635‑4971, to sign up as a volunteer today!
